How Does Scoring Work?

Each time a game of Lizards finishes, players remaining in the game at the end are given a score. The winner gets 6 points, players coming in second, third and fourth get 4, 3 and 2 points respectively. Anybody else not extinct at game end and who also submitted orders on the final turn gains 1 point.
Furthermore, anybody anywhere on the scoreboard loses 1 point every time a game ends which they did not take part in. If your score falls to zero you fall off the rankings until you regain at least one point through gameplay.
